স্বার্থটা যেন বড়ই অদ্ভুত
বোঝে নাতো আপন পর
স্বার্থ অন্ধ বোঝে নাতো সে-
বাবা মা ভাই বোন বিম্বা আত্নিয় জন।

আপনকে পর করেই ক্ষান্ত -
হতে চায় না মানেনা কোন কিছু,
স্বার্থের টানে রক্ত ঝাড়াতেও
ছাড়েনা সে আপন জনের পিছু ।।
