শ্যামলকুমার সরকার
সেই মানুষটি সবার বুকে
আজো জেগে আছে,
আমজনতার দুঃখের ডাকে
আসে শীঘ্র কাছে;
সেই আমাদের বঙ্গবন্ধু
সোনার বাংলার পিতা
সেই আমাদের দেশের বন্ধু
দুঃখশোধন মিতা।

Still today that awaken
in the heart of all,
He comes quickly when
miserable men call;
He is our Bangabandhu
Sonar Bengal's father,
He is the country's friend,
He is pain's washer.
