You know me - I wait for you,
In this endless dance of life we're bound to.
But as I wait, one day I'll be lost,
Lost in the labyrinth, a soul tempest-tossed.

Don't search for me on that fateful day,
When time slips away, don't seek my way.
Don't cast the blame, don't point your finger,
For time marches on, an unyielding bringer.

The day you finally recognize my face,
I'll be a stranger in this crowded space.
To wait for you, my mind turns to stone,
And the heart of the first lover, now alone.

I'll wander far, lost in distant lands,
While you move on, leaving me in sands.
Another love may claim this weary chest,
Settling where your warmth once laid to rest.
And on that day, regrets will consume,
As you realize what's lost in the gloom.

Sorry for the pain, the love I withheld,
For time's relentless pace, I now beheld.
You know me - I wait for you,
In the ebb and flow of life's milieu.
But in this rhythmic verse, let our tale be told,
Of a love that faded, lost in time's stronghold.
