মানিক মুনতাসির ধ্যান ও জ্ঞানে একজন সাংবাদিক। প্রায় দেড় যুগ ধরে সাংবাদিকতা পেশায় নিয়োজিত। সর্বাধিক প্রচারিত দৈনিক ‘বাংলাদেশ প্রতিদিন’-এ কাজ করছেন এর প্রতিষ্ঠাকাল থেকেই। লেখকের প্রথম বই (খবরের কবর) প্রকাশিত হয় ২০১৬-এর বইমেলায়। দ্বিতীয় বই 'আত্মার মুক্তি' তৃতীয় বই 'মুখোশের আড়ালে মুখোশ' প্রকাশিত হয় ২০২২ বইমেলায়। পেশাগত দায়িত্ব পালনের অংশ হিসেবে আমেরিকা, ইংল্যান্ড, সুইজারল্যান্ড, ফ্রান্স, ডেনমার্ক, ফিনল্যান্ড, নরওয়ে, সুইডেন, জার্মানি, বেলজিয়াম, ন্যারদারল্যান্ড, অস্ট্রিয়া, তুরস্ক, ফিলিপাইন, দুবাই, সিঙ্গাপুর ভ্রমণ করেছেন। প্রেম কিংবা ভালোবাসাকে শুধু সাময়িক মোহ হিসেবেই ব্যাখ্যা করেন নিজ জ্ঞানে। তবে কোনো কিছু না পাওয়ার প্রতিই রয়েছে মানুষের আসল প্রেম। এটাই লেখকের বিশ্বাস। পেশাগত স্বীকৃতি হিসেবে লেখক আমেরিকান চেম্বার অব কমার্স ইন বাংলাদেশ (অ্যামচেম) ফ্রন্টলাইনার অ্যাওয়ার্ড, পেডরোলো সেরা কৃষি লেখক অ্যাওয়ার্ড জিতেছেন। একই সঙ্গে ডেনমার্ক সরকারের দেয়া আইএফএজে এবং অগ্রোম্যাক ফেলোশিপ-২০২২ অর্জন করেন।

Manik Muntasi is a renown journalist. He is Engaged in the profession of journalism for almost 15 years. Working in the most circulated daily 'Bangladesh Pratidin' since its inception. The author's first book (Khoborer Kobor) was published at the 2016 Book Fair. The second book (Attmar Mukti) the third book (Mukhosher arale Mukhosh) was published at the 2022 Book Fair. Published at the 2022 Book Fair. He has been Traveled to America, England, Switzerland, France, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Belgium, Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Philippines, Dubai, Singapore as part of professional duties. As a professional recognition, the author won the American Chamber of Commerce in Bangladesh (AmChem) Frontliner Award, Pedrolo Best Agriculture Writer Award. At the same time, he received IFAJ and Agromac Fellowship-2022 given by the Danish government.
