পাপ আর পুণ্য উল্টো মুখী দুটো ধারা বহে
কর্মের দ্বারা অর্জিত হয় সকল ধর্মে কহে।
পুণ্য কিন্তু নিজের জন্য পাপের কর্ম কমলে
কুসুম ফোটে সমাজ বাগে শান্তির বায়ু বহে।

Virtue is for himself but the action of sin diminishes,
