Poetry is not only about society but also it tells about sadness that chokes people's lives. It tells about love. Poets garland joy and sorrow around us with words in poetry. Besides it expresses the happiness of life as well as the feelings of love. Almost all the feelings that are in the noise of people are embedded in the brain of poets. They come to us as poems. We feel either happy or sad when we read it. Poets can not be lost in the midst of crowd. They become poets among people. In the same way Dipankar grew up in a simple rural environment and became extraordinary through his creativity in the simplicity.

In 2020, when the world was in the grip of an epidemic, when people were under house arrest, I organized a three-day literary event with poets from all over the world to explain that others might be alone but we who are global poets or artists are not alone and we never feel lonely. In continuation of this I edited a great anthology of world poets, known as Odyssey International Anthology Of World Poets. I am telling about Dipankar. Since then, our introduction phase has started and we are walking hand in hand as a complement to each other on this thorny road of literature.

I'm telling about men.The nature of human life, the characteristics of thought and expressiveness gave birth to the forms and branches of literature in different ages.

And at the dawn of civilization, people were speechless and silent. At that time, people's means of communication were mere gestures. Family-based, group-based men have developed language in order to maintain communication in their daily lives. That need was purely material. But with the evolution of time, human thoughts, actions and feelings spread in many directions. This is how man's original art of words is the creation of poetry. Drama emerged from the need to create art mediums suitable for people's daily lives. In course of evolution of society and civilization, people have gradually created different literary forms for their living, enjoying life and for their finer expression.

Nature-dependent poet Dipankar constantly draws inspiration from nature for his poetry. In fact, love is the focus of his worldly pursuits. That love makes him brave. And so he said casually,

My world is full of joy and happiness
As I've made it with my love and tenderness.
I have adorned this with truth and beauty.
No power can destroy my world and me.

My world is full of passion, romance and dream.
It gives me much satisfaction every time.
Whatever is found on the way of my journey
Is transformed into my poetic thoughts by me.

'My Own World' is my fourth anthology of seventy five poems. Actually I wanted to publish an anthology of one hundred poems but to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Independence of my beloved country and make it special, I decided to include just 75 poems in my book, 'My Own World'.

Since my childhood, I have been deriving much pleasure from literature, especially from poetry. So poetry is my love and passion. The poetry of the English poets has influenced my life so much. I am very impressed by the poetry of the Indian poets (from the Sufi poets to Rabindranath Tagore). I can't think of my life without poetry. The world of poetry is totally different from reality. It is filled with beauty, love and happiness. It gives me aesthetic pleasure and infinite joy both of which are not possible to gain in this mundane world. I can easily transport myself to Paradise on the wings of imagination which is the key to my creativity.

The poems of my book, 'My Own World' have come straight from the core of my heart. My verses are the songs on love for man, Nature and their Creator, the Almighty God. My poems are also about my childhood, my experiences of life, my journey on the road of life, my writings, time and existence. I hope the poems of my book 'My Own World'' like those of 'Your Love, My Inspiration', 'Love, Another Name of Divinity' and 'Beauty and Truth in Love' will touch the hearts of the readers and surely captivate them.
